Overview
Best Product Compare UK helps shoppers “find the best products, compare smarter and buy with confidence” — a content-driven comparison site with structured product categories, a transparent 4-point ranking methodology (performance testing, customer feedback, value for money, brand reputation) and regularly updated picks.
Challenge
Shoppers need product comparisons they can trust, and editors need to manage a large, growing catalog without touching code — while image-heavy comparison tables still have to load fast.
My role
I built the platform’s scalable WordPress architecture, and I continue to maintain it with ongoing maintenance, bug fixing, SEO improvements, and feature enhancements.
Implementation
Products and categories are Custom Post Types, with ACF Pro field groups for specs, pricing and rankings — so editors manage 100+ product entries through a clean admin UI without touching code. Comparison layouts are built with Elementor Pro. Image-heavy comparison tables are optimized with lazy loading, critical CSS inlining and script deferral.
